    I want a 35mm 1.4 too!! Is Sigma ok to have compared to Canon you reckon? I've never really known...sigma is so much cheaper though

      The sigma 35mm is about $600 cheaper than the Canon! Most people say this is Sigma's best lens and they love it, but doesn't hold contrast as well as Canon in backlit situations. I think I would have to hire it before I buy it!
